This was a golfing trip with eight of us, so you have to admire any restaurant that can deal with a large party so effectively. The building is impressive to begin with, with the Ocean and beach as a backdrop and the famous Ocean Golf Course in between. As you enter there is a pro golf shop where you can buy all of the tourist paraphernalia associated with a famous golf course and to the right is the entry to the bar and restaurant. There is a wide terrace with tables where you can dine outside but this is more casual and on the evening we went it would have been unpleasantly breezy, even if the view was spectacular. We had a cocktail at the bar where a weather vane is mounted inside the ceiling. I know, I should have taken a picture. The restaurant has one glass wall that looks out at the golf course and the ocean. Did I mention the view? Anyway the food was interesting if you wanted, or traditional if you preferred. We had a mixture of steaks and fish dishes that all went down well, and the starters were all devoured pretty thoroughly. A few bottles of a very nice Pinot Noir helped wash it down. None of us are desert eaters but I imagine they would be good. All in all a great evening out and well worth the visit.
