“You Can't Eat Ambiance”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

We loved the ambiance as soon as we walked in here. But the menu was confusing and the food itself was a little too ambitious for what it actually was.

“Tiny room, unusual menu items, strange spices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Some people seem to love this place as it has a full parking lot much of the time. Open for breakfast and lunch and sometimes for dinner. Not nice enough for a full scale dinner in my opinion. Breakfast items are unigqu. Our portion sizes for lunch were incredibly small and we thought the price/value was questionable. Also we are not fans of the high level of seasoning used on much of the food.

“Average minus”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Located before the round about to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands. This used to be a catering company. Now they are open for restaurant biz. Small size...maybe a dozen tables. Diner-esk.

First time it was very good. Small but interesting menu. Service a little slow.

Second time not so special. Same service. Pretty generic and a little pricey for what it was...unremarkable fish tacos.

Third time....pretty sure that was the last time. Menu got too big. Prices too high. Lunches at a diner style place starting at $10 up to high teens? Ordered the special... blue cheese hamburger. Either I didn't read menu board or they didn't explain. It was a burger alright. Good enough but it had two servings of not so special thick cut ham on it. Ham-and-burger. Both. Served w a mayonnaise and broccoli and mayonnaise salad. $50 for lunch for three.

Little weak. Other better options. Hopefully they will go back to the more unique, fewer/better options and less high calorie.

“A Small Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

This is a tiny restaurant run by a local caterer. We had breakfast here and loved every bite....from the fritattas to the french toast to the great biscuits!
As I said, this spot is small and sometimes you might have to wait a few minutes, but the woman who runs it is very nice....and very busy....and very accommodating to special requests. We can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner! I noted four stars for the atmosphere because it is very comfortable and fun...not fancy!
