I visited this restaurant by chance after we stopped by Publix for vacation food shopping. It's conveniently located just around the corner so has lots of parking. It looks great as you walk in but lacks atmosphere. We were one of only two tables so maybe it has a better feel when full. We went around 5ish so it could have been at that crossover point. We were seated quickly and drinks orders were taken by a very friendly waitress and arrived quickly.
We are a mixed group so ordered a house special pizza, a pepperoni and a chicken dish from the menu for my daughter.
The pizza counter is located in full view of the restaurant so you can see your pizza being tossed and made from scratch which is very cool!
The pizza arrived first and the chicken 5 minutes later which was a little frustrating but everything tasted good. The food was priced well but the bar prices are horrifically expensive even by Hilton Head standards. It's a pizza joint not a 5 star restaurant!
There was an older man who we assumed to be the manager hovering around the table which was quite off putting and no sooner was the waitress clearing our table he was shoving the check in our face which made us feel quite unwelcome. It was a shame to end on a sour note as we were quite enjoying ourselves. If they were busy I may have understood it. Has real potential but they need to relax a little. Overall food great, drinks ridiculously priced. You wouldn't hang out at the bar area.
