Who would have thought you'd find food like your mama made on the bottom floor of an office building?? After reading about this unique dining spot we thought we had missed it when we pulled off the highway and saw an nondescript office building. Sadly we were there "off season" and the whole menu wasn't available. However, we were treated to wonderful friend chicken and a shrimp burger which was a surprise but very tasty. The sides -- cole slaw, collards and mac and cheese were just right. The sweet potato corn bread was moist and sweet, just like a dessert. Probably the best part was being able to meet and talk with the chef/owner, a person with great passion to provide great food and share her background. We will be back this summer, can not wait to try the Gullah buffet!
