Located between the Sea Pines and Coligny traffic circles, Truffles is a great place for seafood in an area that abounds with great seafood restaurants. Salmon is offered with several different preparations. The special I tried was simply grilled and served over a bed of creamy risotto and spinach. My companion had chipotle chicken with macaroni and green beans (he said the mac and cheese would make Paula Deen happy!) . The side salad was fresh and large for a $3,95 charge. For dessert, if you aren't a key lime pie fan, try the blondie. A portion big enough for at east two, it is top with ice cream and caramel and chocolate sauce. We were made to feel most welcome from the minute we walked in and service was excellent. A walk-to place for us, this will likely replace a more expensive seafood place we frequent.
