“Amazing as always”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

Had a craving for their sliders. They did not disappoint as usual. We sat in Joe's section he is great. Spot on service throughout our visit. Tuesday is apparently Turkey dinner day, I know where I will be every Tuesday.

“Great Local Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

We are locals, eat here a lot. This place is just lots of fun, a local favorite on the island. Informal, cozy, nice booths, Frank Sinatra-type atmosphere. We had broiled seafood trio tonight, very tasty and well-prepared. Nicole, our server, was great. Very professional, attentive, friendly, especially courteous, and still efficient. And she was serving a bunch of tables, so it wasn't easy for her to be that way. This restaurant is a member of the SERG group of restaurants on HHI, and the BOGO deal from, I think, December through February, makes eating here frankly a bargain. Ingenious business strategy - enables them to be really busy during the slow winter months, and keep their highly-trained wait staff. Reservations are accepted, so definitely make one! Friday and Saturday nights can be really busy, noisy, and hectic, but weeknights are really different - more intimate and relaxed. Nice bar! We keep coming back!

“Top Notch Dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2014

We've visited Hilton Head Island for many years, but managed to overlook Frankie Bones every trip. Corrected that mistake this past week. We went on a Wednesday night, and the house was packed. Despite the big crowd, our dinner service was helpful and efficient. A standout entree was the veal and eggplant. We'll be making Frankie Bones a regular stop in the future.

“Decent”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

This restaurant isn't anything special. We actually got their 2 signature dishes (ribeye and the lobster Mac & Cheese). My husband liked his steak but it had a good bit of fat. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was good but nothing special. If you are going, make reservations. The service was decent. There wasn't anything bad about this restaurant but nothing that stood out as great. We probably won't go back. We went to lowcountry backyard last night and ate better food there.

“Delicious dinner, but can't quite understand its popularity”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2014

My wife and I fully enjoyed our couples dinner at Frankie Bones, and I cannot say anything negative about it. Our server was extraordinarily friendly and helpful, and our food (steak and seafood) was very good. However, it took 3 days to get a reservation at a reasonable hour. I don't quite understand why getting a seating was so difficult. But, if you decide to go, be sure to book at least 2-3 days in advance.
