this place is awful. we stayed on the third floor and the entire floor including our room reaked of a mildew smell, it was hard to breathe in the room, and the bed i believe had bugs, because I woke up with bites. When i complained and did not want to stay for the remaining two nights i had paid for i received a hard time and was refused until i threatened to call the health department. I am currently waiting in the lobby for my refund because the "manager" is in a meetine even though he has taken 4 calls from the front desk about this problem. I feel i have been lied to continuously and one other thing they advertise they have wi-fi and they do not the only wi -fi available is in the lobby not the rooms.

Myself and my partner had reservation for 7/28/2012 - 7/30/12. Checked into the hotel on Friday evening. Upon entering the hotel there was an smell of old furniture. Checked in any way. The room was horrable, there was king size bed in the room that looked as if it was 30 years old. All of the appliances in the room were very outdated. The sheets felt very ichy. Although you could smell the bleach on the sheets they felt awful. The entire hotel smelled. On Saturday morning around 6:00 a.m. we were awaken by a sewage odor. We went downstairs to ask what was that smell and they said they didn't know. At this point we were feed up and asked to be refunded our money for the next night stay. Do not waste your money and time staying at this resort. The only good feature is the beach is across the street. Pay a little more and stay at the Hilton Park Inn and Suites.

This hotel SUCKS!!!! It might be cheap and close to the beach but it is not worth it!!! You will never have hot water!!! The girl with the scrachy voice iat the front desk is very rude!!! Pay $20.00 more and go to the Comfort Inn down the street. Very nice people there. They even gave me a discount because we were complaining about the Metropolitan!!

I just want to point out that others have said that there is no hot water.....well i have been told that a water heater is down....sounds to me like that is the excuse they tell people. We asked for towels....no new towels....at the cleaner....the pool.....dirty and had algea on the steps.....none of the furniture outside was able to be sat on because it was wrecked in some way....did i mention that this is in noooooooo way water front....u have to walk across the road and then down a path and then down another path...Its like almost a half mile....and its in the sand....totally sucked..only one lamp works so at night it ia a cave.....and the parking is laughable...good luck with that. ....i can look past alto but no hot water and ice cold water to rinse off in is unacceptable....never ever ever go to this place i cannot stress that enough.
