The menu changes throughout the seasons based on ingredients, and the inspiration of the staff and Chef/Owner Clayton Rollison. Our menu includes offering like "Pork Pot Roast," Steak Frites and can be as adventurist as Foie Gras Pate and Octopus A La Palncha.

“What a treasure!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

You must try this place - everything is outstanding! We tried it based on Yelp and the posted reviews. We were so glad we went! I tried the tomato bisque which was phenomenal including the presentation. The Filet Mignon was outstanding. The flavors had a party together - perfectly paired. Leave room for dessert. We had the warm brownie with homemade chocolate ice cream and ganache. It is totally with the calories! This restaurant is such a treasure. Make a reservation!

“Outstanding service, innovative food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2014

What a treasure of a restaurant in Hilton Head. With hundreds of places to eat this is a must for adventuresome eaters. The decor is understated I loved the craft paper hand stamped with a red rooster. The food changes daily and everything we had was wonderful. We shared two appetizers, one entree got a side from the bar and one dessert and needed nothing else. Our waiter Steve O. is a veteran of the food industry and able led our adventure in eating. We stayed with one more "typical fair" crab cakes but what made them special no bread filler and the sauce was unique and wonderful. The other appetizer we went by recommendation an octopus that was out-standing, I alway worry that it will be too chewy not at all here tender tender. Our entree was a beef short rib with a katsu sauce peas and bulger bed. Dessert was banana pie in a small mason jar ( good thing it was small we were so full by then). It is the small things I so appreciate- the roll was fabulous crusty on the outside and dense yet tender on the inside. The bar had we snacks-develed eggs, chicken skins and bone marrow. On the recommendation of Steve O and the host we tried the bone marrow--it truly was wonderful.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2014

My husband and I went with another couple and we weren't disappointed. Atmosphere was lovely, not pretentious. We were greeted by a gentleman who came to our table half way through our meal to make sure all was ok, so I assume he was the I manager. Our waiter was pleasant, knowledgable and patient, as many of us changed the side dishes! The food presentation was great, the wine was perfect, and the food was delicious. We didn't have dessert there because we were so full, but they looked delicious! So, if you are a dessert lover, save room!

“Best of Hilton Head!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

Is this a new restaurant? New chef? I almost don't want to say that this must be the best-kept secret on the island. Housed in a modest, low-key building right on the highway, I predict lines will soon be all the way to the beach for this amazing restaurant. We started with an asparagus salad with bacon lardons and an octopus salad with artichoke hearts. He had tuna and I had halibut and both were exquisite. The presentation was five stars and the service the best of southern hospitality. Hands down the best restaurant in Hilton Head.

“Trendy and good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2014

Was excited to try this new restaurant. Went with two other couples. We didn't get any bread like other reviewers. Agree with other reviewers that water with no ice is a bit annoying. Bone marrow app had very little marrow and was not seasoned well. Deviled eggs were excellent. Mozzarella was a bit tough. Asparagus salad was very good. Octopus is worth the visit alone. Curiously rib eye bone in was served with bone cut off and on the side. Trying a bit too hard to be trendy. Other entrees were good but all in all there are so many other restaurants on the Island that are just as good at the same price point or less. Worth going once to try it to form your own opinion.
