Description: The Crazy Crab provides a spectacular waterfront dining experience overlooking beautiful Jarvis Creek. Our menu is derived from Low Country recipes, and each entree is individually prepared to order. Our Alaskan Snow Crab Legs are the best on the island - winning local awards for multiple years. We provide entertainment for the whole family with an onsite playground, the largest salt water fish tank on Hilton Head, live music and crab races during the summer, and a perfect view of breathtaking Low Country sunsets. We have both indoor and outdoor seating on our expansive deck and are pet friendly. The Crazy Crab at Jarvis Creek is perfect for your rehearsal dinner or private party. During non-peak times of the year, a part of the restaurant can be curtained-off for your private event, seating up to 80 individuals. The covered outside deck area can seat almost 100 guests with an outdoor bar area and options for private oyster roasts or Low Country boils. Come visit us and see why we have been a local favorite for over 30 years!

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

We were disappointed with our meal at the Crazy Crab on Jarvis Creek. We typically dine at the other location (Harbour Town) where the quality of the food is much better. The shrimp and sausage in the Low Country Boil were very overcooked and the fried platter items were soaked in grease. Our server was not very interested in our preferences either. She couldn't remember what drinks we had when offering refills and the wrong meal was delivered to our table. The server seemed to be preoccupied with a table of 6 she was serving rather than our smaller table. The restaurant was not busy at all (6:30 pm on a Wednesday night in early May) so we expected much better service and food than what we received.

“Great views, great cats, great dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013

We stopped in here after golfing. The waiter was very helpful in suggesting local beers.
One couple ordered oyster on the half shell and the other couple oysters Rockefeller, which they said were the best they had ever had. The raw ones were very good too. We also enjoyed the hushpuppies.
After that everyone followed with a crab boil, one couple sharing king crab and the others having snow crab. Everything was cooked well. The staff were very friendly and the view sitting on the tables closest to the outside was fantastic. The best meal we had on our trip which was primarily to Savannah. Great place.

“Hit the spot”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Tried the crabcakes, barbecued shrimp and oysters. Went back for seconds on everything. View of Jarvis creek is fantastic. The crew in the kitchen have been at this for decades and they know their craft well. go for a solid seafood fix and great sunsets.

“Good food with a good view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

Our lunch here was very good, but uneven. I had the best fried oysters I've had in a long time as part of my seafood platter, which was plenty of food and all cooked well. The crab cake was also outstanding. The scallops were very good, not tough at all. the shrimp were disappointing and the fried fish good. My wife had stuffed flounder, which was only average, the stuffing not great. Hush puppies were better than average. Lunch prices are reasonable for the area. Nice view of the marsh.

“Our traditional stop on arrival at HHI”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

When we get on the island we stop here for our late lunch and usually have great weather to sit out on the deck and relax after a long ride. The Shrimp salad is exceptional. We have eaten at both locations of the crazy crab and this is our favorite for relaxation and good service.
