After reading some poor reviews of the Westin, I made a change to Sea Pines for a quick getaway after our wedding. I called a few days before to see what I could arrange to have waiting for us, and was impressed when they were offering complimentary champagne; I also was able to order chocolate covered strawberries and some other things. From the moment we got there the staff was smiling, and greeted us by name with a big 'congratulations'. Our room was great, marble bathroom and tub were very cool.

Breakfast in the morning was spectacular - it's pricey ($18/person I think) but well worth it for the pastries alone. We kept waiting for something to go wrong or be off, and it never happened. The golf cart service they have to get around the resort was also helpful. Staff really was terrific.

I am from the UK and was visiting South Carolina and the Sea Pines resort for the first time. The Inn at Harbour Town far exceeded my expectations. Without exception, I found the staff welcoming, friendly and accommodating. I had the sense of a team 'pulling together' at every level. Nothing was too much trouble and I felt they really cared about customer satisfaction. The Inn is exceptionally comfortable and rather 'colonial' in style. My room, with balcony overlooking the tennis courts, was very comforatble - loved its spaciousness, the crispy Egyptian cotton bed linen, super comfy beds and the luxurious bathroom complete with Moulton Brown mini products. The whole hotel is scrupulously clean. The surrounding area is beautiful. I would most certainly recommend this to any of my UK friends who wanted to spend time in a unique and tranquil part of South Carolina.

Very accommodating staff. They are currently undergoing some renovations which are expected to be completed in April. I would suggest if you plan to stay there between now and then you request a room with a view of the tennis courts not the course, they start working in the morning around 8, even on Sundays.

A very good hotel. Customer service is outstanding - very friendly and helpful. Room was large - especially the bathroom. Only negative was the construction outside and painting inside during our 3 day stay. We were NOT informed of these activities prior to arrival. I am a Starwood Gold member who could have stayed free at the Westin in Hilton Head but chose this property due to the construction at the Westin. Felt sorry for the hotel employees who had to take abuse from guests due to this "surprise".
