Description: We are a dark cramped restaurant located in a strip mall in Coligny Plaza. We play our music loud, keep our lights uncomfortably low making is hard to read your menu, large taper candles provide minimal lighting and drip on your table. Our staff will explain our dishes and ingredients in excruciating detail, our outdoor seating is in a parking lot. Our service is sub standard and our food ordinary. If this sounds appetizing then we would love you to join us for a memorable culinary journey. Our Chefs have lived throughout the world, our 300+ bottle wine list is almost all small boutique and rated wines. We work as a team and take pride in meeting and exceeding every guests expectation. Dress is club casual and no children under 14 PS we are not an Italian Restaurant!!

“Best Restaurant on Hilton Head Island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

Enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Vine. We arrived for our reservation and were told it would be a few minutes before our table was ready and were offered drinks on the house. A delicious cabernet! Our server, (Sebastion, I think) was outstanding. The food was amazing. The best we have had on the Island. After dinner, we were invited into the main dining room to listen to Chef Olivier play beautiful flamenco music on his guitar. The evening far exceeded our expectations and we will return as often as we can!

“I didn't look at trip advisor before we went guess I should have.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2013 via mobile

I only say that because all I wanted was pasta and two years ago it was just a small little place that served good pasta. Well it's all grown up to a fancy pants place. The service was excellent as was the food. The squash soup the only weak link. I thought it was flat and served literally almost boiling. Waitress was good and took off without asking. It was dimly lit and loud ok for me but not so good for my 91 year old dad with one eye and bad hearing. He enjoyed the food though. So bottom line looking for pasta dinner night before Hilton head half marathon(me) not so good but otherwise great place. Ravioli filled me up.

“Don't miss eating here...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

My husband and I wanted a different restaurant from the ones we normally dine at in Hilton Head. We decided to try the Vine and were not disappointed. Our server, Nicole, was extremely friendly and went over the menu with enthusiasm and knowledge. We had the grouper and the classic osso bucco. Both meals were delicious. The fresh brushetta reminded us of Florence, Italy. Even though we were quite full, the red velvet cake dessert was a hit with us. All of the wait staff were attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the music from the patio. It was a great meal and night!

“Very pleased with food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Chose this restaurant based on Trip advisor reviews and was not disappointed. Was impressed from the moment we arrived from the warm personal greeting right thru the whole dinner. The waitress Nicole was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and explained all of the specials thoroughly. The kale salad was delicious and the scallop main course was divine. The staff were attentive, warm and caring without being over-bearing. The atmosphere adn decor in the restaurant are warm and inviting. Prices are reasonable and we would absolutely go back.

“All around excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

The hype on this restaurant was too good to be believed so we had to try it. We were able to get in the same day we called. This is a smallish restaurant nicely decorated with a warm feeling from the get go. We were greeted warmly and treated beautifuly throughout the evening with several people stopping by to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. Our table was right in the middle of the restaurant and adjacent to the bar and one of the booths. Wow! Talk about being in the middle of the action! The food was terrific and I can recommend the seared tuna served rare. My wife had the fish of the day which she claimed was excellent. We shared a heavenly chocolate cake for dessert. The wait staff is attentive and wonderful as well as knowledgeable. Okay, was it perfect? Well, being seated where we were, the bar on one side and a booth on the other, made conversation a bit difficult, yet it was still fun. This was a very unique dining experience. Would we return again? Yes, we defintiely would.
