This is exactly what I imagine when I think of a family vacation to Hilton Head. The pool was literally 10 steps from our back deck, and the beach was just across the street! Must-see attractions like the Salty Dog and Harbour Town were only a short drive away, and many of the top rated restaurants were only a couple minutes down the road! Only a short walk or bike ride to Coligny Plaza. Only problems we had were that the bathrooms were very small and a couple outlets didn't work, but other than that - excellent!

Seascape was centrally located and provided an excellent home-like place to stay. We were surrounded by palms and beautifully kept pools. Our agent was extremely helpful and we were able to relax and enjoy the wonderful experiences of HHI.

Sescape villas in HIlton Head Island, SC are a great place to stay. Direclty across the street from the ocean, the complex is surrounded by lagoons and bridges and is very relaxing. There are two on site pools as well as a small playground. Close to everything that Hilton Head has to offer - within walking distance to shops and restaurants,

My family of 4 just returned from a week at Wild Dunes.
We booked our condo through vrbo.com and stayed at
the Seascape. We weren't told until our final deposit
was received that the beach erosion was so bad that
there was no beach access from our condo and that
we'd have to drive down the street to another complex
to get onto the beach. We weren't told until we
were 2 hours away that the pool was also closed due to the
severity of the erosion. I have a 5 yr old and a 9 yr old.
No beach and no pool = not alot for the kids to do. There are sand bags everywhere. When we booked we weren't told any of this. I tried to place a comment in their guestbook regarding our
stay and it was denied. Not all of the beach at Wild
Dunes is affected. Please be careful before you make
a reservation.

  • Liked — Nicely decorated
  • Disliked — The condo was fine. It's the beach erosion and sandbags that were the problem

This comment is erroneously posted to Seascape Villas of Hilton Head. This posting was meant for Seascape Villas in Wild Dunes in Isle of Palms, SC....NOT Hilton Head, SC. The South Forest Beach area where Seascape Villa of Hilton Head is located has NO problems with erosion and is one of the best beaches on the Atlantic coast!

Just returned from our first visit to Hilton Head Island, and we loved staying at the Seascape villas. The location is great (directly across the street from a private beach access with private cabana).

The villa we stayed in was at the very back of the property, and it still was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The property itself is lovely. Most of the villas surround a beautiful, wandering lagoon dotted with a series of bridges. The grounds are landscaped with lush tropical foliage (palm trees everywhere). Sitting on the deck, you could swear you were on a tropical island. The villas are light and spacious. (Most of the master bedrooms have a large wall of windows which face the lagoon - very nice!)

Some of the villas are more nicely situated than others. Ask for a villa with a view of the lagoon, not one of the pools. (It can be a little noisy around the pools).

The villas near the street are closer to the beach access, however, the villas toward the back of the complex are quieter and a little more peaceful. Whichever you chose, you can't lose with Seascape villas!

  • Liked — Condition of property, landscaping around property, proximity to beach, good value
  • Disliked — No negatives

The condo's are clean and spacious. We normally stay at a non-smoking condo and never have had that smell or must from a smoker. There are two pools to choose from although both are a bit shaded which is good for me but maybe not for most folks. THe lagoon and fountains are very soothing particularly because all of the condo's have nice spacious decks to relax on. We have stayed at this property throughout the years and have never been disapppointed. The past reviewer is right in saying that beach is merely a three minute walk on a well defined path right to the beach. Great place to stay!

The Seascape Villas are great! They are spacious, and are just across the street from the beach -- about a 5 minute walk. As an added bonus, they have their own beach access with private, locked restrooms at the beach for your use. Any parents of young children know what a plus this is! Best of all these villas are much more reasonable than the oceanfront ones. We will stay here again for sure!!
