I am writing this review in the Business Center at The Hilton Garden Inn. I am pleasantly surprise. We usually book at resorts for our yearly summer vacation. However, the island was booked for the dates that we wanted a condo. We were referred by a friend to attend a timeshare presentation for Blue-Green Resorts in Hilton Head. Our first reaction was that if Blue-Green wan't putting us up at their resort, then it would probaly be at a so-so hotel. Well, we were totally wrong. The decor is inviting. The staff is wonderful---customer service with a plus; and we were very satisfied with our rooms. The first 2 nights we had to endure a smoking room, because there weren't any non-smoking rooms available, but the staff moved us into a beautiful non-smoking room with a scenic water view when one became available. There are limited amenities--only one meal is served a day. However, there is room service available that is arranged by local restaurants, outdoor pool, fitness center, small laundry facility, and the business center where I am writing this review. The hotel is approximately 12 miles from the oceanfront. The Tanger Outlets are within walking distance; and there are restaurants, movie theatres, and shopping plazas galore right in the vicinity of the hotel. If there were a full service restaurant, indoor pool, game room and full gift shop on premises; I would rate this Hilton Garden Inn 5 stars---but for right now---A STRONG 4 STARS WILL DO. Great customer service guys!!!

We really enjoyed myself at this hotel. It wasn't exactly at Hilton Head Island but it was in Hilton Head. The area was very nice and clean. I am also thinking about moving to that area. We were only 15 minutes from the beach and we had a really great time. In fact, we plann on going back during the fall.

We loved this place. Nice location, just on the approach to HH Island.
Great facilities, including a lovely pool area. The usual standard of facilities and accommodation you get from Hilton Garden Inn, which is typically very good value for money. If you don't mind driving a bit (like a few minutes) to the main attractions on HHI, an ideal choice.
Otherwise, pay through the nose for other accommodation options ...
