“My Stay at Park Lane”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

We had a wonderful stay at Park Lane Hotel. It was nice having a kitchenette in our room, two queens and a sitting area. I am a pool person so I enjoyed sitting by the pool area. We love to ride bikes so it was very convenient to access the trails and take a ride. The personnel was very accommodating with any request for towels and accessories. The breakfast was the typical continental style and very enjoyable or enjoyed cooking in the room as well as going out for our main meal in the evening. Pleasant stay!

Room Tip: We enjoyed having the two queen beds with kitchenette. This way we could have breakfast & lunch...

Very clean hotel with a full kitchen. The beds were comfortable, the shower had lots of hot water and plenty of pressure! The pool area was awesome...plenty of lounge chairs and tables. The cabana was wonderful to sit under and relax as the children swam the afternoon away. The staff was friendly except for the front desk clerks. Overall, a nice place. Will be back.

My husband and I took our grandkids to the beach and booked with Park Lane again. We had a pleasant stay last time, so were looking forward to staying on the property with them. The room was spacious - plenty big for the 4 of us. They are small so it gave us PLENTY of room with the pullout and the 2 queen beds. The kitchen was clean and well equipped and we saved money by storing drinks and snacks in the fridge. Even though Park Lane is not on the beach, it was in a beautiful location of the island and just a short ride to Coligny Beach. We enjoyed Nick's and being across from Shelter Cove Marina.
Thank you for a lovely stay. We look forward to coming back soon!

We changed to this hotel after a disaster at Comfort Inn. Park Lane employees were beyond accommodating, the loft was perfect for myself, husband and 2 children. Beds were comfy, staff was great, pool time was a blast. I did not see any bugs like some reviews say- and I looked! Starbucks coffee was a nice surprise!

Was nervous about coming here because of the negative reviews. I just checked in. B building ... bi level suite. Its gorgeous. Just like the photos and very clean. There is a thermostat that you can adjust to your liking... which i just did and its nice and cool and vents working both upstairs and down. The bathrooms (2) are a it small but dothe trick....and so isthe balcony but there are so many places aroundthe property to lounge......don't hesitate to book here

My girlfriend and I were spending a weekend away and decided to book this hotel. I called the day of our check in because we were going to be checking in late and kept getting transfered through a recording. It took over 30 minutes for me to get to a live person who was not even at the hotel location but in a corporate office. We finally arrived at the hotel after 9PM and another family was asking about restaurants nearby. The receptionist could not offer any advice other then the crazy crab which was 6 miles to the right. She then directed them to a book of restaurants. It was now our turn and we were never greeted. I had to initiate the conversation to check in. We were given our keys and told breakfast was 630-930 and we were staying in the building to the right. That was it. No information about the pools or any other amenities the hotel offered. You have to walk around the side of the hotel where you park to get into the hotel which is very awkward. Our room was directly beside the pool and you could hear everything that was going on. The room looked like it had been updated recently and was very nice. The bathroom is very small and you have very little countertop space. Not to mention the toilet paper is in a very bad spot. You also have no drawers to put your clothes. The location of this hotel is the best thing. Even though it is not oceanfront, you are close enough to everything. Overall we were disappointed with the hotel itself and would not stay here again.

The pics on the website make this look like a beautiful place. However, it is VERY outdated. Cockroaches everywhere. Upstairs was extremely hot. Couldn't even get dressed upstairs. The balcony we had would barely fit one person and the door didn't even close all the way. No beach access which sucked because trying to find parking was a joke. We ordered pizza one night and the front desk called and we had to go pick it up. You would think after paying what we did and staying 4 days and 3 nights, a staff member would've offered to bring the pizza guy to our room. There is absolutely no insulation in the walls. We could hear every slam of every door constantly. And could hear housekeeping banging on the doors. Not to mention, me and my husband had our "do not disturb" sign on the door and maid service still insisted on knocking and yelling until we finally went to the door!! We will not be staying here ever again!!! If you want a decent place, you won't either!!

Room Tip: Don't stay here!!!
