We ate late on Mother's Day, just prior to closing. This can be risky after a "rush" that can leave the staff tired and ready to go home from afternoon family lunches, brunches and early evening feasts. But our server Megan made it feel like we were her first clients of the day. We think that the bar and kitchen might have been a little distracted but Megan turned it all into a seamless and enjoyable experience. Wiseguy's seems to always engage the right people to interface with clients that know how to run interference even when other aspects of the production might be a little "off".
That and the generally good quality of the food, atmosphere and clientele are the reasons we return frequently.
