“Pleasant stay in a very nice hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2010

This is the second time we have stayed at the FairfIeld Inn in Hartsville (the first being in July 2009). The hotel appears to be new. Everything was extremely clean. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The hotel is about a block from a quaint main street that is filled with shops and restaurants and is also close to Coker College. They have coffee and tea in the rooms as well as in the lobby. A continental breakfast is provided. The rooms were a nice size and the beds were very comfortable.

This is my third stay at this hotel. As usual the staff was friendly and accomodating. The room was spotless and in a great location. You can walk to the downtown restaurants and movie theatre.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We come every year and always get the same lovely service. The breakfast ladies are darling and Michelle at the front desk was so helpful. We will be coming back.

This is the third year that we have stayed at the Fairfield Inn Hartsville. We go every year for a family reunion. The best things beside a comfortable stay and very friendly staff are 1. Hot, fresh baked cookies in the lobby upon check-in (yum!), 2. Delicious breakfast with microwaveable cheese, egg, bacon, or sausage biscuits, fruit, grits etc.,3. Everything in the breakfast area spotlessly clean and very well stocked by the two sweetest Southern ladies you could meet. They greet you each morning with a smile and ask how has your stay been. (Manager, these ladies are priceless and deserve a raise) . We'll definitely go back when we're in town.

Stayed one night. Hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Beds were comfortable and rooms were...roomy. College town. Good restaurants within walking distance.

I visit this hotel about 4-5 times per year and I am always impressed by how friendly the staff is. The accomodations are typical of a Fairfield Inn. One new touch is the addition of an exercise room. That was a major negative about this hotel up until now. If I were to make a recommendation to the folks who run this hotel, I would tell them to add an automatic door. The manual set of double doors are not easy to navigate. Other than that one small inconvenience, this is the hotel to use when in Hartsville(for all of you folks visiting Sonoco Products, stay here). Do not under any circumstances stay at the Landmark Inn
(nicknamed the Landmine) when in Hartsville.
