“Food is great, but service is always very slow!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2013 via mobile

We always come back. We take our visiting guests here for breakfast on the day they leave for home. But we always warn them that they need to leave plenty of extra time. The food is great-I always get a chocolate chip pancake and a cheese omelete-but the service is always pretty bad. Last time, my toddler was with us, and we asked for a high chair, and we never got one. We had to take one from a table that was leaving nearby, and wipe it down ourselves. And we inevitably have to ask for refills on water, soda and coffee because they don't bring them.
But again, we always seem to go back.
My only other complaint is that the booths and chairs are not very comfortable.

“Great food and value!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2013 via mobile

This was our second time to eat at this place. We like to stop at this place when going to GSP airport. For true Sothern Cooking at a price that can't be beat. Excellent meal and great service.

“Diner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

So, if you're not from around here, like maybe from New England or something, this is closest thing we have to a local diner here in Greer.

For $5 you can get 2 eggs, pancake and grits and coffee on their breakfast special. And its all good, especially the pancake.

At lunch, its a meat and 3, which is not my thing, but their sandwiches are all good - like you'd cook them if you were at home. EXCEPT they make their own potato chips. Those are great.

“Best in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

This is by far the best value and food in town. I'd travel from Spartanburg or Greenville for these meals. I have had breakfast . lunch and dinner and it is the best southern meal I've had in a restaurant. Biscuits are the best!

“Small and local”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

Very local and small. They stop serving breakfast at 11 on Sunday and then it is "meat and 3". Prices resaonable, good size portions. Real mashed potatoes with lumps just like grandma's.Busy but did not have to wait long.
