“tucked on a side street downtown”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

Nice use of revitalizing buildings downtown. College and locals frequent this restaurant. Create your own pizza from their many sauce and toppings choices. Have only had lunch here whenever in town but it appears to be a happening spot in the evenings and for Sunday brunch.

“Crummy service, ok food, good beverage selection”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Came in from the rain, stood around for a few minutes, ignored by three waitresses, no one ever greeted us, not a nice environment, found a table, hung around waiting for it to be cleaned, waitress hovered while we looked at menu, she looked so put out, food was okay but not great, wont return, some of the worse service in town

“The Mill House”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

The Mill House in Greenwood, SC is a Pizza Sub Bistro with an awesome selection of craft beers and ales. Lunch and dinner are always great here.

I ordered the Mill House Original, a sub with bottom round, onions, roasted red peppers and cheese with a side of au jus and potato salad. the sub was hot and tasty and the potato salad was awesome as usual.

I sat at the bar and had a great view of the pizza makers doing their thing. I ordered Sierra Nevada Pale Ale with the meal and it was cold and crisp. The service from the bartender was exceptional.

I highly recommend the Mill House for lunch and/or dinner!

“Pizza and Beer”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

We have only had pizza and their appetizer of bread with cheese made from pizza dough. It has always been good... not great. Our last visit (three nights ago) was probably our first disappointment. Service was good, but the pizza was not. I think they may have cut back on the toppings on the pizza and possibly changed some of the ingredients... less quality. I hope the addition to the building is not causing them to loose focus. This type of place sometimes get confused over whether they are a restaurant or a bar. Though concerned, we will return to see if we simply hit a bad night. Oh yes, their specialty beers are wonderful, but $7.50 for a 10 oz IPA? I don't think so.
