“Fluor Field”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2009

Just as an update this ballpark is not longer called West End Field it is called Fluor Field.

This a very cute and CLEAN ballpark. The City takes a lot of pride in this ballpark.

Despite being downtown parking is honestly never a problem. You can park and ride the free open air trolley bus. Or play a couple bucks to park across the road from the stadium. The city wants you to come early and linger downtown.

This is a very family friendly ballpark with a playground in the stadium. You can give grab your beach towel and sit on the hill if you like. Ticket prices are dirt cheap. 8 dollars are the most expensive seats.

The food is very reasonable. However my recommendation would be to eat before you come. I had the worlds worst hot dog here so I typically stick to just getting a drink.

There are a ton of young singles/professionals that come to the ball field. My guess is they are drawn in by the cheap beer prices. Even with the alcohol it is still a very family friendly environment.

“Great Ballpark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2009

This is a great ballpark.

-Location: It's a part of down town. It's not surronded by parking lots. It's surrounded by, shops, retaurants, churches, homes. it's walking distance to Falls Park, Hotels and Downtown.

-The field: is modeled after Fenway Park, same field dimensions, it's got it's own Green Monster in left field, Pesky's pole, etc. It's got that great minor league feel. They are only about 15 rows of seat, so you are close to the action.

Amenities: big wide concourses, a grassy hill in left field where kids are playing catch and families are hanging out. Also in left field is a playground for younger kds. Out in right field, it's a different story. That where the bar and big party deck is. Beer and food are reasonably priced, about half of what it costs at the Brave's Turner field.

“The Greenville Drive Rocks!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2008

We were recently in Greenville for a short getaway. My husband and I both love sports. (especially football & baseball) We live in the Atlanta area and frequent Braves games. I am sure we had more fun at this minor league team's game than we have had a Turner Field in a long time (The Greenville Drive is the minor league team for the Boston Red Sox). The park is lovely, well maintained, and very family friendly. It won ballpark of the year for 2006. It is far less expensive than any major league park. There is not a bad seat in the house, and to boot, the food & drinks (including beer & wine) are a price you can afford compared to the major leagues. (Ex: Hot Dog: $2.50, Braves Game Hot Dog: $6.00, Greenville Drive Beer: $3.00, Braves Game Beer: $8.00) It allows families to be able to enjoy a great day at the ballpark without breaking the bank. The most expensive ticket is $8.00. The teams really play their hearts out, and the MC for the game makes it soooo much fun. The day we attended it was about 94 degrees and we were sitting in the sun. We didn't know, but it was "Wet & Wild Day", which meant at the bottom of the 5th inning, our section and one other was hosed down with the fire hose they use to wet the field. What a great relief from the heat!! If you want great fun, at a price you can afford, grab your family and head out to see the "Greenville Drive"!!!!
