We go to Tsunami once every couple of weeks. We love their sushi, so trying a new sushi place was a little risky for us. We were very pleased though. Baked mussels were different than what we were used to at Tsunami, but a pleasant delicious surprise. We ordered 4 rolls, all of which were huge: Dragon, Long Island, Love and Fujiyama. The first two were deep friend, which normally isn't our first choice, but they were very good. They were willing to accommodate my distaste for cucumbers. Service was good, maybe a little slower than usual. There's an upstairs and a downstairs though and I'm not sure how bog of sections the servers are expected to cover. A few minor complaints; the high booths downstairs don't have a place to put your feet. I'm 5'8" and came nowhere near the floor, causing me to have to sit with my legs curled up on the booth to prevent them from falling asleep while hanging. The downstairs bathrooms were aesthetically pleasing, but the soap dispenser was out and the paper towels wouldn't come out of the dispenser and it was early in the evening. The bar downstairs was pretty cool. They could change the color of the lights which could change the ambiance. Overall, definitely worth it. The sign says they are open until 2am also, so maybe good for a late night sushi craving. Not sure if that's the actual kitchen or just the bar though.
