“Nice hole in the wall”

NICE italian restaurant right in a little strip mall. Don't let that fool you. The food was excellent. Very close to Best Western Greenville

“Very Long Wait For Very Average Food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2012

Have given this restaurant three tries! With all three visits - we had extremely long wait times for food. At least 45 mins to 1 hr 15 mins. Twice - they were very busy. Once - they werent busy at all. All three visits brought long waits and average food.
Probably wont be visiting again!
Will go to Portofinos instead!

“Italian food from the heart.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2012

Garlic knots, rich tortellini soup, mouth watering lasagna great pizza, huge hippie rolls, fresh pasta and attentive service. Sciortinos is a refreshing alternative to the standard Italian chain fare. The owner is in the shop here and that makes all the difference.

“The real deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2012 via mobile

Real Italian food by real Italians... This restaurant could be right from the streets of queens... Which is where tony & Joanne are from. Awesome pizza, Pasta & veal dishes. Salad dressing that reminds me of my Italian grandmother... Love this place & glad to see the crowds there each time I go...

“Glad we found this place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2012

We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and were looking for a casual, nice place for dinner that wasn't a chain and wasn't expensive (we are "over" expensive). This is a hidden gem in EarthFare plaza near Pelham Rd. and I 85. The service and food were very good. When walking in, it smelled italian. The prices were very reasonable. They served hot rolls (a little heavy on the garlic). They have everything from subs and pizza to italian dinners. The broiled Cod ($14.95) was very fresh as were the salad and sauteed vegetables. The homemade salad dressing was excellent. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the blue crab ravioli ($15.95). The portions were large, so we'll have leftovers for lunch. This will become a regular stop for us. We would recommend this for couples, families or friends getting together.
