“Can You Rate Lower Than 1?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

I stayed here overnight last week on my way from FL to NJ. I am still trying to shower off how creepy I feel after staying there for only a few hours. I would have asked for another room, but we were so exhausted from driving and it was very late at check in. I did write an email to the General Manager afterwards to complain (he offered me a free room on my NEXT visit), as the front desk just stared at me without a word or apology when I told them the following issues at check out: bath tub dirty, missing light bulbs, room appears to never have been dusted since hotel was built, filthy carpet, book that holds local menus and contact info for hotel was stuck to the dresser from a liquid food spill...butter in their free breakfast area was spoiled... I can continue but you get my point... Low price for a hotel should not mean DIRTY

After driving back from a disappointing week on Tybee Island, GA, we were happy to find this reasonably priced and professionally maintained hotel, with easy access off 1-95, for an overnighter. It was very nice to be situated ground floor, across from the pool and the small, but squeaky clean gym for some much needed exercise after a long drive.
The room was very clean and spacious, the breakfast room was well-stocked and the coffee was fresh and plentiful. All-in-all, this Econo Lodge has high standards and the staff is genuinely friendly and helpful.
Also nice to encounter other satisfied and friendly travelers relaxing around the pool at sunset!

This Econolodge was convenient for an overnighter. Location had lots of venues for eating and gasoline. Had a slight problem with check-in since I had prepaid on Expedia. Finally had to "pay again" and got the whole mess straightened out with Expedia in a snap. Room was clean, comfortable, but needed upgrading and some maintenance. It had a great breakfast and was everything you need for a quick pass-thru. Next time, though, I will stay at another place.

this hotel was nothing fancy, but it was quite clean, had a microwave and fridge in the room, and comfortable beds. i was also impressed with the maintenance outside of the buildings. The grounds are well cared for as are the buildings. This is a very large complex with several buildings. It also has a reasonably nice gym. A small Universal machine, a treadmill, an eliptical and a stepper, all were in working condition which was very nice. The breakfast was reasonable as well and the lady looking after it did her best to keep things freash and stocked. I found the desk staff very friendly and helpful other than the fellow at checkout. I asked about my reward points being posted and he advised me to call and do it myself....an odd response, however, I think this is not the norm at this hotel, all others i encountered were extremely helpful and polite.

Room Tip: ask for a room that does not face the interstate

Very pet friendly. Room was on ground floor. Door opened right onto a large grassy area with straw mulch around trees. Perfect for our large, medium, and small dog. Yes, it was a 3 dog night ( usually only travel with one).
Room and furnishings very old. The positives: clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Old remote TV in good working order as were refrigerator freezer and microwave. Continental breakfast was reasonably good. Price was excellent.
Negatives: carpet needs to be replaced; plumbing needs minor repairs; overall needs to be updated.

Stayed 3/26. It was everything we needed for $50. Comfy clean bed. Clean shower. Room could have been cleaner. Felt safe all the way in the back. Well lit. 169 was quiet not facing the highway. Called ahead to request room away from highway. Night auditor and check out clerk both friendly. Breakfast lady got milk out for me after breakfast was over. Very nice.

Room was Clean, not really updated. OLD TV and remote didn't work that great, But bathroom was clean. Bed was ok. Not a bad place to stay overnight. Breakfast was okay, just nice to have it right there.
