We checked in to the Residence Inn and had keys in about 5 min from walking in the door. We reserved a 1 bedroom suite and was actually upgraded to a 2 bedroom. This worked out SO well with our 2 young children to go down in each room, then us hang out in the living room.
We were pleased to see a VERY clean/comfortable room. We had extra towels and pillows as we had requested online. Our baby's pack and play was delivered right after we arrived. The housekeeper offered to set it up, but we said we could handle it. LOVED that it had a washable cover included (one that had been seen on Shark Tank- Cover Play Yard).
We were told there would be a social hour with food and drinks from 530-730p. The theme according to the calendar in our room was "comfort food." We went out for dinner (Percy & Willie) but decided to stop by for a glass of wine. We were expecting to see some popcorn, or cheese and crackers. No--Full meal! There was meatloaf, green beans, rolls, mashed potatoes, brownie, lemonade, sodas, wine, and water. We had a piece of brownie with our boys then headed to the room for bedtimes. Jealous that people were actually saving that $50 we just spent at dinner (although dinner was very good!).
Beds are extremely comfortable.
Free wifi. good connection.
Pool and exercise room looked good, although I didn't use either.
Looking forward to the free hot breakfast in the am before we hit the road for the next 10 hrs of our journey to Florida.
Kudos to residence Inn for advertising their Suites as it truely is- a room behind a door and a living room area with TV. We needed a real SUITE- not just a larger room with a sitting area at the end of the room!
