“Grover's Bar and Grill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

When the island is quiet, they serve the full dinner menu in the bar (Grover's). Food and service wad superb. Shorey was our waiter, extremely attentive and knows his craft. Good beer selection and the chip appetizer was amazing. An Edisto must!

“MOLASSES as in SLOOOOW SERVICE!!!?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

The Plantation Grill has been renamed Grover's, but one thing has remained consistent - THE SERVICE IS BASICALLY NON-EXISTENT. Our waiter would wander off for 20-25 minutes. I could say more, but nuff said! I do however know this - It will be a cold day in Hell before I go back!

“Limited menu but food excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

I had a whole fried flounder and it was my first. A huge fish, tail and all, came deep fried with a mango salsa. I couldn't finish it all. Lisa had the fried oysters and they were cooked perfectly. The sides were asparagus grilled and couscous or shrimp with grits. The entree selection was very limited but choices change every day. Great food

“Way to expensive for the quality of food and service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2012

Spent $80 dinner for two. Got charged twice on my card and had a difficult time getting the second charge removed with management when I returned home. For the price, the food was average and the service was average as well. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table when several were already open. Server seemed awkward and an not very knowledgeable. Gave the benefit of the doubt that she was new. Menu was very limited and most things on the menu wasn't even available. Again, benefit of the doubt was given as they are on an Island and could have trouble with inventory. However, with all of this factored in, no way is the price justified. The bar was a different story. Better prices, choices, and atmosphere. DO NOT DINE IN THE RESTAURANT AREA.

“The Way We Were”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2012 via mobile

It's not quite what the Plantation Grille was. Food is good, but the menu is very abbreviated from the past. The she crap soup is still the second best in the state. Oh, for the way we were.
