“Best place ever!!!! Wedding party headquarters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Our wedding party stayed at this absolutely charming property in June. I truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. The facility is breath-taking. The customer service is as good as it gets. The meals were plentiful and delicious. We had our rehearsal dinner there and the staff did a beautiful job. Everything was spectacular. I can't wait to return just for R&R. By the way, the beds were very comfortable. If I could give Cypress Inn 10 stars I would. You won't be disappointed. And I speak on behalf of the entire wedding party - it doesn't get any better than Cypress Inn.

Room Tip: Every rm is different - quaint and charming

Miserable experience. First and worst, the room reeked of some sort of floral cleanser. We had to sleep with both windows open just to stand it. It was so bad, we would have left if it had not been so late. Second, and just as bad, the rug in our room was stained and dirty. Third, as many reviewers have noted on other sites, breakfast doesn't start until 8:30 (if you're lucky).. If you have blood surgery issues, you're out of luck. They have no flexibility on this issue even if you have paid in full for your room and must leave by or before 8:30 pm. There is also no warning about this issue on their website. When we called to discuss these issues with the front desk, they hung up on us. Best to stay in elsewhere. It was one of the worst night stays we have ever had and we travel frequently.

Room Tip: Stay somewhere else.

Our stay at the Cypress Inn was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived until we departed, everything was just perfect. We were a family in 6 rooms, and every room, every detail, was perfect. The hosts are attentive and seem to really enjoy pleasing their guests. The decor is outstanding, the rooms perfectly comfortable and quiet, and not a detail was overlooked. The breakfast was wonderfully delicious and all service was elegant. We'd love to return! True southern hospitality!

Room Tip: We had the opportunity to see 6 rooms, and each is more outstanding than the next. The Jacuzzi tubs...

Very pleasant owners who know how to make people feel comfortable in another's home. Relaxing porch, marina and river walk outside the doors, excellent breakfast choices, and interesting conversations with other guests. We visit SC almost yearly and The Cypress Inn will be a stopover on any future visit the Strand.

Room Tip: May want to ask for a lower floor room to avoid three floors of stairs.

Extraordinary experience at the lovely Cypress Inn. Hosts are exceptionally attentive and welcoming. Delicious breakfast and quiet comfortable rooms are but a part of the inn's charm. The location is delightfully relaxing yet you are close to town and Coastal Carolina University. We can't wait to visit again. We will stay at the Inn each and every time we visit this area! Highly recommend.

We stayed at the Cypress INN over Memorial Day weekend.....our daughter was getting married nearby.
We loved waking up looking at the water and boats...very quiet..sat outside drinking our morning coffee followed by a delicious breakfast inside. Beautiful guest rooms. Southern hospitality at its finest!
You will not be disappointed!!!!

I would have to say that if you want a top of the line B&B give the Cypress Inn the opportunity to satisfy your every need. The room was perfect, the location was perfect, the breakfast was perfect, the owners were "GREAT"!! If up in the Myrtle Beach area consider The Cypress Inn for your traveling pleasure.

Room Tip: Our room was Magnolia, overlooking the marina
