I stayed here for 3 nights. Upon check-in, the clerk wasn't very welcoming and when I asked about parking she said, "park anywhere, we're not busy for the next few days". I parked and went to enter the hotel. The card reader at the back door did not work so I went around front. Once in my room, it had a strange smell, a mix of cleaner and mildew. The room is in need of an upgrade. The carpets are bunching up all over. The sliding bathroom door does not close, the bed comforter had holes in it. On the 3rd day I received a call from the front desk asking me to move my vehicle to the side of the building. Once outside the parking lot was cramped and hard to get to the side (I am driving a 45' bus). The hotel is also under renovation on the outside being painted. The first night there was plastic taped all over the windows. Anyway the painters said my vehicle was not in the way and to leave it in front of the hotel. Then a woman who identified herself as the gereral manager came out and began yelling at both me and her staff members saying I had to move to the side. She first stated that other guests needed the parking, which there were very few, then stated it was a fire hazard to have the bus in front of the hotel. She went inside to call the police to ask me to move, and I returned to my room while the staff sorted out where I should park. Eventually a nice gentleman came to my room, apologized for the mix up and guided me to a parking place. This was the most unprofessional general manager I have ever seen and I stay in hotels 100+ nights per year. I can't believe she speaks to guests and her staff that way. The hotel also has paper thin walls and a huge gap under the door so the rooms are very noisy.

I was not trying to be rude. The Abbott Trailways Bus was parked parallel in front of building. I had had several complains about the bus being park there from other guest in the hotel. Also the bus was blocking fire hookups if we had a fire the fire dept could have not gotten to them. we have plenty of truck parking space beside the building. I asked the guest to please move the bus and he told me to go f myself. He said he was not going to move it. The painters did say that the bus was not in the way ,but that is not why I asked him to move it. I ask him to move it for safety and security purposes. I have seen highway patrol tow a truck that was park there before. I worked for Greyhound buslines for many years. and I know was the rules and regulations are. and the guest was in violation of them. I don't feel like I was rude just trying to insure the safety of all my guest. Yes we are in the process of renovations. The windows has to be covered with plastic so that the paint does not get on them. Most of my guest are excited to see the new changes and so are the staff. The busline stays with us on a regular bases, never have I had any problem with the other drivers they always park on the side of the building where we have truck parking.
