Really enjoyed this restaurant. The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly, just the right amount of spices and went well with the Adluh grits. One thing I really enjoyed was the iceberg wedge salad. Generous portion, tasty blue cheese dressing, but what really set this one apart from others was the candied pecans sprinkled over the salad. The bread was excellent too, and tasted fresh baked.
Only slight negative was somewhat inattentive service despite the restaurant not being very busy. For example, my server never mentioned any daily specials, yet the waiter at the adjacent table described at least one entree not on the menu (grilled mahi-mahi I believe), and I think he described a couple drink specials too..couldn't hear every word but curiously my server didn't mention any specials. Drink glass was empty a couple of times, but not for too long.
Great atmosphere, and great prices. I had lunch there, and the entrees ranged from $9.99 to $13.99 which I thought quite reasonable for the excellent food quality and location.
