While on a cross-country motorcycle trip, we stopped in Clinton for an overnight stay. This hotel is located just off I-26. Not much else around. What a find! Beautiful, brand-spankin' new hotel. Tasteful decor, fresh, crisp linens. Staff and manager pleasant, professional, and visible.

The bonus was having a Fatz Cafe located right across the parking lot - didn't have to get back on the bike. Sat at the bar and socialized with the locals. This is the whole point of traveling...being able to meet and talk with the locals. Great stay.

Hampton Inn's know how to take care of its guests -- at least this one does.

This Hampton Inn is new, looks nice and clean; it was a nice place to stay. The only improvement that could have been made to this property is that the shower - instead of being the typical shower/bath combination - is one of those plastic-paneled-in showers. And the plastic floor in the shower felt a little flexible - like it wasn't totally solid underneath. Other than that, it was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed our visit. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast options are well-stocked. It is definitely one of the nicest places to stay in the area.

Clean, new hotel. Wonderful beds, work out room, and breakfast. Small indoor pool, great for kids. Staff went out of there way to help. Very clean. Won't hesitate to stay again.

This is a pretty new hotel right off the interstate. Easy to get to. It is four stories and caters more to corporate customers, but lots of savvy travelers too. Has an indoor pool, exercise room, a mini-snack shop open 24 hours with microwave type meals, ice cream, etc. There isn't much in the general area, as it is out in the country so to speak. However, I drove about and the general area appears very safe. They are building a restaurant right next door - it might be a Cracker Barrel; not sure. Should be open in six months I guess.

The hotel has a great breakfast including eggs and ham, very good coffee, danish, fruit etc.

The facility is spotless. The staff were all very professional and friendly. The Internet was fast and reliable.

Only complaint was that the floor under the carpet was uneven in our room. We were on the fourth floor, and there were small dips and rises in the floor. Not a problem for me at all, but if someone very elderly stayed in that room, they could potentially have an issue.

All in all, this was a very clean, upscale hotel with well trained professional staff. I would go out of my way to stay there!
