“Under MUCH needed renovations!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed there for family weekend at Clemson. The tub was peeling, the pool was closed for renovations and I hope the interior is in line for the next reno's. The A/C was a wall unit that woke us up every 20 min. Breakfast was provided, which was nice, but it was so crowded in the area it was hard to get to the limited options the provided. Looking for other options for Homecoming weekend. At $300 a night (after fees), surely there are some other options!

The housekeeping service was AWESOME and deserves special praise. Busy weekend and I know they were working hard! Our room was clean and they were very personable! Real asset to the hotel!

Room Tip: Not sure as the halls were LOUD as folks came through. We were on the 1st floor but don't think...

Stayed here for parents weekend - it is the closest hotel to the university. The hotel was quiet (despite being sold out) and the free breakfast was appreciated. I would stay here again the next time I'm in town.

I have stayed at this hotel on various floors. There have been some up grades made but they still have a ways to go. The staff is outstanding and the breakfast is awesome if your able to take advantage of it. I leave out early so I miss it every morning accept for check out day. Pets are welcome and this was one of the reasons why I picked here

This hotel is quiet and clean and meets all basic needs. The room was cool and pleasant for sleeping.
Could use some upgrades - bathrooms are older, but clean. Breakfast was just OK. Yukky orange juice (watery and fake), and sour hard-boiled eggs. But, there were make-your-own waffles.
Location convenient to Clemson campus and basic food/amenity needs. All in all, a fine stay, but not a terrific value, just OK.

We stayed at this hotel with the family for a wedding. My wife and I arrived from Tennessee at 3:30am, and the front desk receptionist was probably the nicest hotel staff member I've ever encountered. Her name was Sarah. She was aware we were going to arrive late and was concerned for us! She gave us a quick rundown of the hotel's amenities.

The rooms were great - the doors splitting our room were nice, and provided some privacy.

Breakfast was okay; I've had better at hotels, but I've had worse more often. The pool was nice and clean.

Overall, a very good hotel.

Great location in Clemson. Service is just good and hotel itself is fantastic. I cannot say anything but good in this hotel so far. Everybody is soo friendly and professional. Rooms exceed our expectation as well as the service. The breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely come back!

I travel a lot for Dog Agility Trials, and I always stay at the Clemson Comfort Inn when there. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good. The pet rate has gone up recently, but it is still a value. The only downside is the train that comes through right behind the property during the night. But the BEST thing for me is the happy, helpful and accommodating staff. Everyone from housekeeping to kitchen to front desk is top-notch, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile for the guest.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel may be closest to the train tracks.
