“Great Location, Friendly Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

We have stayed at the Indigo and their sister property The Jasmine House many times. Every time the staff made sure that we were well taken care of and enjoyed our stay. They offer a very nice breakfast and in good weather it can be eaten outdoors in their courtyards. They have wine and cheese in the afternoons.
The Indigo Inn is right in the middle of everything in Charleston and is in easy walking distance to almost everywhere you might want to go.

This inn gives you a real southern Charleston feel. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. At 5, wine and cheese are served, and you can enjoy them in the courtyard. Breakfast was very good also. The location is just right for touring the historic district. I definitely would stay there again.

We recently stayed at the Indigo Inn during our trip to Charleston. We were a little skeptical at first because the price was much less expensive at the Indigo Inn than similarly located Inns in the area, but we booked it based on the great reviews from Trip Advisor.

It is a great place to stay if you want to be perfectly located and experience the charm of the city. The staff was great, particularly Brian. The rooms are charming, well decorated and comfortable. There is a wonderful courtyard where you can enjoy your morning coffee or your complimentary wine and cheese.

We would definitely recommend staying here. If there were any negatives to be mentioned, the sheets were a little scratchy and if you stay in a room with a double bed, it is a little small...but this is to be expected at an older property.

4 California women loved the Indigo Inn! The definition of true Southern hospitality! From the lovely, morning, breakfast to the wine and cheese in the courtyard, we enjoyed every moment there. The location could not have been better, and the staff was delightful, especially Ignatious! Coffee and lemonade were available throughout the day. Also--the internet was fast and easy to access! Thanks for a memorable 3 days, India Inn!!

This is a charming, characterful hotel, well located, with good car parking but most of all, very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts were deliciious and imaginative and it was delightful to be able to sit in the quiet courtyard. Cheese and wine at the end of the afternoon is a nice touch. We will certainly return.

This hotel is in the historic district of Charleston. We were able to walk everywhere. The room was small but nice and clean. Breakfast was the usual but it was nice to sit out in the outside courtyard. They also had wine and cheese in the late afternoon which was a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The Indigo Inn was the perfect place to stay in Charleston. Price was reasonable and a perfect location. Explore the city and never have to get in your car. We walked everywhere. Just a couple blocks from the wonderful Market that is in Charleston. The Inn was beautiful. There is a wonderful courtyard in the center and all the rooms open up to the courtyard. The included breakfast was wonderful and the afternoon wine and cheese was a treat. You couldn't ask for anything more.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor which was very nice.
