Description: The first location, opened in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina in 1992, remains the flagship store for Sticky Fingers. That's where the five barbecue sauces - Memphis Original, Carolina Classic, Tennessee Whiskey, Carolina Sweet and Habanero Hot - came to life. The sweet smell of hickory wood permeates through each restaurant as all of the smoked meats are still slow cooked on-site in barbecue pits and watched closely by our resident pit masters. It is that continued commitment to tradition and authenticity that makes our restaurants and signature barbecue sauces so popular. Recognized for serving the best hickory-smoked Memphis-style barbecue and ribs in the Southeast and creating award-winning barbecue sauce sold in 5,000 retail locations across the country, Sticky Fingers Smokehouses celebrated their 20th Anniversary in 2013. To this day, the restaurants remain true to the original founders' ideals of great customer service, reasonable prices and having a passion for 'fall-off-the-bone delicious' ribs, pulled pork barbecue and chicken. Memphis-style Barbecue is cooked at a low-temperature, and with a slow-smoked dry (without any sauce) process that enhances the natural flavor of the meat. Since the pork is smoked without sauce the high quality of the meat is the most important ingredient. The meat is cooked in a smoker and although thoroughly cooked, is pink in color. It is tenderly hand-pulled (not chopped). Other popular styles of Barbecue rely on a sauce to flavor the meat. Most "Carolina-style" Barbecue is cooked on a grill (not a smoker) or boiled in a vinegar-based sauce and chopped with a knife. At Sticky Fingers you will enjoy a casual dining environment with family, friends, and kids while getting sticky and having fun, or hang out at our fully stocked bar with signature cocktails and a wide selection of beer and wine while watching the big game on one of the many widescreen TV's. Get Sticky. Have Fun! Headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Sticky Fingers is a unique barbecue smokehouse concept with 16 locations in the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. Sticky Fingers specializes in high quality barbecue and comfort food and offers five signature barbecue sauces - Memphis Original, Carolina Classic, Tennessee Whiskey, Carolina Sweet and Habanero Hot. In addition to its core restaurant business, the company has generated successful catering, online mail order and retail barbecue sauce businesses. Sticky Fingers offers guests monthly offers and updates through its StickEClub. To-Go: Our complete dine-in menu is available To-Go and we have added Family-Style options for meats and sides in larger containers. In addition we offer value priced "Express Meals" To-Go. Express Meals are sized just right for families and include a pint of homemade cole salw, BBQ Baked Beans and a bottle of Sticky Fingers Sauce. “Great food and atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

We went to Charleston, South Carolina when I was visiting my son and his family in Beaufort, South Carolina in April, 2013. We happened to come across this restaurant when walking around and decided to try it. I really liked it. The atmosphere was good as was the food. As I am from California I am not a real expert on catfish but I thought I would try it. Either I was really hungry or it was really good. I think it was both. The restaurant seemed quite busy so be prepared for a possible wait. It will be worth it though.

“Great place for celebration”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

We recently hosted a rehearsal dinner at Sticky Fingers. Some of the participants were at first put off by the idea of a "barbecue place" for such an event. However, the upstairs function room was perfect, and the staffing, especially by Ryann, who is the chief organizer, was spectacular. The menu items were carefully selected; we added an oyster roast (from which we couldn't pry the guests away), and the food was excellent. Ryann suggested the menu, planned the décor, and came up with inexpensive ways to decorate the tables; she got the flowers, designed the containers, and found the best way to display our background slide show, using the projector owned by the restaurant. She even found us a spectacular instrumentalist/vocalist--Sully--for background music (for $300 for the evening!). We had arranged for place cards, and Ryann and her staff set those out as well. Even as the attendance changed on the day of, the staff was able to reset and realign the tables. So, good food, cooperative and solicitous staff. The event was a really big hit!

“Did not fall off the bone!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 24, 2013 via mobile

Nice place but they need to improve their wine list. The ribs were dry and did not fall off the bone which is the best sign of GOOD ribs. My wife had the pulled pork and said it was very good. The beans and cole slaw were tasty. Service was fine. I would go again though.

“Good BBQ and entertainment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013

Our cab driver recommended we eat at Sticky Fingers and we all enjoyed the casual atmosphere, live entertainment and Southern Cuisine. Nachos, pulled pork, fried Catfish, local beer were all great. Don't get a burger unless you like it cooked well which was the only choice. Loved trying all the BBQ sauces which were also available for purchase in a variety pack. Walked out with a $5 CD by the local band...they were really good! Service was very attentive...a little too much! Refilled our drinks and asked if everything was ok NUMEROUS times!

“Sorry to be a party pooper”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2013 via mobile

Went last night and was really disappointed. Food was ok, but table was dirty, food on seats, had to pinch cutlery from another table. The starter was whisked away before we had finished it! Felt like we were in the way of closing and it was only 20:00. Tried out the sauces, but was put off later watching staff top up the bottles from already opened and used bottles, so how old is the stuff in the bottom if they just get topped up each night?

Maybe I'm being fussy but sorry this seemed unhygienic to me.
