Description: Slightly North of Broad is a Lowcountry bistro that brings together an abundance of local ingredients and thoughtful, expert presentation with a friendly, contagious energy. Here the dining room is a natural extension of the kitchen, a place where culinary skill, a clever, considered wine program, warm service, and conversations meld together. Our local farmers, fishermen and producers are as integral to the food we make as they are to our place in this community.

“Superior Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

I first ate at S.N.O.B. five years ago and remembered having a wonderful meal, so I was anxious to see if the restaurant was still delivering consistently. The answer is a resounding YES! Still a beautiful, warm, inviting space. Laurie took great care of my table. Excellent wine and food recommendations and attentive, caring service. And the food is simply amazing. During my recent dine, I thoroughly enjoyed the beef carpaccio and the BBQ tuna. Everything was prepared perfectly with great attention to detail. Overall, this is a dining experience that I want to repeat over and over. I can't say enough good things.

“SNOB by name but not by nature”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2013

We took advantage of charleston restaurant week with an evening dinner offer of 3 for $30. It is fairly formal seating despite the open cooking area. A good mix of locals confirm this is popular place to eat and meet. A good menu selection.

“My Favorite in Charleston!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

This is my favorite restaurant in Charleston! Love the food, especially the shrimp and grits. The service is great and the atmosphere is not-to-dressy-casual. Everyone always acts like they are really enjoying themselves here. It is a must in Charleston. And don't miss the kitchen shop next door if you are a foodie. It is awesome!

“Lived up to expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013 via mobile

Came here for lunch and was not disappointed. The food and service were both excellent, and I would like to go back for dinner some time in the future. A reservation is recommended. We had a 45 minute wait but, during the day, there's lots to see nearby while you wait.
