“Yummy!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2010

Spent the entire day at the beach and did not want to leave for lunch so we decided on Locklears. It was not incredibly busy, so we were seated right away. They had indoor and outdoor tables. We ordered the specials for lunch (I got swordfish, my husband got salmon blt and we both got the crab soup) and we LOVED IT! The food was so good, we went back for dinner. I definately reccomend ordering the specials! It was low-key, definitely not like some of the other resteraunts that are geared towards tourists with live music and "crab shack" atmosphere, but it was a cute little diner and right on the beach.

“The atmosphere is the attraction”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2009

When Locklear's took over from the Star Fish Grille I knew that they couldn't hold a candle to the food and I was right. The atmosphere is the best part of the experience, The food is OK but is lacking in real Charleston seafood taste.
