“Great Lunch Spot, very attentive service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2014

My friend and I came in for lunch last week, for her birthday. We had a fantastic meal, I got a Special salad and she had the General Tso's Caesar wrap. The best part of the already delicious meal was how the server never let my sweet tea glass go below half full. I drink a lot of tea, and she was very attentive, I very much appreciated that. The food was great, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a delectable quick sit-down lunch spot!
Be sure and make reservations as there aren't many tables, and it is quite popular.

“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

Be sure to make reservations, we sat on the veranda, cooled by the rotating fans and felt like we were in the old South. Great food and service.

“Another winner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014

We walked in and were able to sit at the community table for a late lunch. The roasted peach and corn salad was terrific and the orange cake with coconut topping was delicious. HIghly recommend Cru Cafe!

“Great Spot on Charleston”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

I've been here several times, on several different trips with several different types of eaters and every time it has been a hit. Cru offers a nice mix of options but their specials are always worth a try. The grilled peach salad with a side of grilled shrimp was a memorable experience. And if they have the orange sherbet cake, don't miss it. This is also a more moderate priced and casual option compared to the other offerings in Charleston.
