“Good smoky BBQ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

We had the pulled pork and ribs. Very good smoky flavor. Sides were delicious especially the cole slaw which had a different flavoring. More of a vinegar dressing but tasty. Even though there are plenty of tables, some of the service items made us think it was more of a take out/ cater restaurant. Plastic forks and salt/pepper in packets. Not acceptable for dining in.

“Fun place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

We had already eaten, but were walking down the street and were drawn in by the music. There was a guy singing and playing his guitar. He was very funny and entertaining and very talented! The pints of beer were $4.00. A great way to end the evening.

“Its all about the ribs.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2013 via mobile

This is a relatively small place and we had a big group. The consenous was that these were the best ribs. The sauces were just okay, but not a lot needed with the great flavor of the rib meat. Sides were okay. Beans were plain and Mac and cheese bland. They had a nice atmosphere and lots of TVs to watch college football on a Saturday afternoon.

“BBQ that's good and messy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Always skeptical of BBQ joints in tourist areas, a local basket maker directed us to Queology. We southerners know BBQ...and so does Queology. The pit master comes with 15 years of experience learning from the best before opening this small streetfront housed in the old Redeemer Church. The pulled pork was succulent and the ribs had the best dry rub I've tasted. The sides of mac and cheese and collards were surpassed only by their stellar potato salad. Add sweet tea designed to cause diabetic coma, a good sauce selection and very personable service and you've got a great "can't miss" BBQ experience
