“Really good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Food was fresh and excellent, service was a little slow and could've been friendlier. Loved edamame dumplings, beef pho was good and the chicken salad was delicious. Overall, recommend and was nice healthy change of pace from the standard southern fare.

“Refreshing change from the other Thai restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

Was shopping on King Street with a friend and popped in for dinner. This is a great little restaurant with a hip industrial atmosphere. You can eat at the bar downstairs or upstairs at a table. We had the pork and ginger gyoza for an appetizer and, I had the Thai green curry for dinner, and I loved them both. The waiter was patient and attentive. Will definitely be returning!

“Cool atmosphere, average food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014 via mobile

Co is a really hip place and has a great atmosphere. The food, however, fell short for us. The green papaya salad, pork and crab spring rolls, and pork and ginger dumplings were all good. Not exceptional, but good. The beef pho and Vietnamese ramen were both disappointing. The noodles were overcooked, and the broth wasn't as full-flavored as it should be. (We eat lots of pho, both homemade and at restaurants, so we know a good pho!) ;) One other small complaint - the entrees came out just a couple of minutes after our appetizers came. It would have been nice to wait until we were finished with our appetizers. Overall, the food was good but not great, and the atmosphere is really cool. The prices seem a bit high.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review for us, your feedback is greatly appreciated especially coming from a pho expert! We are glad you enjoyed the atmosphere and most of your food, but are disappointed to hear our noodles were not up to parr. “Great Pho!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

This place has really delicious pho. I've been here with friends, but it's also a good place to grab a bite to eat by yourself and just sit at their bar. It's not crazy expensive, and the food is definitely quality.

“A break from fried”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2014

We went to Co after a week in Charleston for a break from fried Southern food (which I love, don't get me wrong). Co's menu was a refreshing change with a Vietnamese/Thai mix that looked delicious. We ordered the gyoza and fresh summer spring rolls, both quite good. I ordered the beef pho and my husband the Vietnamese ramen. The pho broth was tasty but the noodles were slightly overcooked when I started and of course, continued to soften as I ate. Unfortunately, the runner delivered the entrees while we were still eating our appetizers, a personal pet peeve. Not cool, man.

Be warned that Co is also very, very loud. We could scarcely hear one another to talk. And since it was dinner, the lights were dimmed at least twice to the point where it was hard to see across the table. If there were candles on the tables, that would have offset the dimming. Also, it's bench seats so there was nowhere to hang my jacket or purse. There are lovely brick walls with wood strips running along that would be the perfect place to put lots of hooks for jackets and purses. Just saying, Mr./Ms. Manager.

Thanks for the review, your feedback is very important to us! We’re happy to hear you enjoyed the gyoza and fresh summer spring roll. We normally hear great things about our beef pho so we’re sorry we missed the mark a little on your order. We assure you this is the exception and not the rule and hope you’ll come see us again on your next visit.
