I stayed at InTown Suites on Route 17 in Charleston from 7/2003 to 5/2004, 10 months. I found the management very friendly and helpful. Manager was Jason. The office hours are from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm which gives you ample time to pay your rent or talk to them. Rooms are pretty small, but not alot of people are on vacation there. They're there to work, or are in between housing or are on thier way to somewhere else. TV had some good cable stations and 3 HBO stations, a double bed, small closet, pull-out loveseat, full size refrigerator, 2 burner stove, sink, microwave, table, 2 chairs and a bathroom of course. I used my own bedding and towels, I like good sheets and towels. Bring your own if you are going to be long-term. There are rules there because they had trouble years ago. I'd rather have the rules. Also, bring something to hang over the window blind area, people walking past can look right in. They clean once a week and housekeeping can be a little lazy. This place is good for an overnighter or two, or long-term when you have to be in that area. Also, the rent starts at $155/ week, but I never paid that. It's supply and demand in that business and I never paid under $200/week. I had no trouble getting my security deposit back, which is $100. Overall, I would stay there again for long-term.
