I booked The Grocery 10 minutes before arriving for brunch on a Sunday. The menu was very limited, and we were skeptical whether we would enjoy our meals. The decor and vibe is very cool, although it is at the other end of King Street from most of the shopping, dining and action. Our kids were frankly freaking out at the menu choices, but were pleasantly surprised with their food. The sausage sandwich with egg was the bomb - best sausage I've ever eaten. The potatoes were tasty and the ham and eggs were also yummy. I'd like to see a full menu for lunch and dinner to see what I'm missing. The only downside was that the table at which we were seated was open for at least 10 minutes, we had a reservation, and we were the only ones waiting. The owner or manager held up the table for some strange reason for awhile before motioning the hostess to seat us. Seemed very strange.
