We stayed at the Vendue Inn for our honeymoon and ate @ The Library our 1st night for dinner. The staff is very friendly, not snotty in any way. The dining room is small and a bit tight but we felt like we had been transported back in time by the place setting, linens, chandeliers and architecture. My husband got the bacon-wrapped shrimp with jalepinia cheddar grits. He loved it except for the orange marmalade on top. It was too spicy for me. I had the guinea hen which was cooked to perfection! Crispy skin so moist and tender inside, sage mashed potatoes and tender buttered leeks complimented the hen so well-all just perfectly seasoned and prepared!
