“Great Experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 9, 2013

My husband and I stayed here for one night for the Family Circle Cup. We had stayed here before and had a positive experience on both occasions. The location is tops for convenience to the tennis complex and the shuttle is wonderful. The drivers were pleasant and back and forth continuously so the wait was very little. This eliminated the hassle for parking. Hope was friendly and helpful in making our reservation and likewise on site as were the whole staff. Eager to be of help even with all the changes in tennis schedule due to inclement weather. Helpful restaurant information sheet. Hope even baked more cookies for us when they ran out! They allowed us to keep our car parked and continue to use the shuttle after checking out so we could attend the tennis event. I have allergies and this is the first hotel that has totally complied with my request for no "aromas" anywhere in the room and bath, including the linens. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Higher price than we normally pay due to the tennis event but I understand that. Definitely a great experience. Definitely would return again! Definitely a convenient place to stay!

Room Tip: If you need special things, such as no "aromas", ask.

I have stayed here many times as it is close to the businesses called on. Queen Anns Revenge has great food and is on site. Extremely quiet location as the area is all business. It is very handy to Clements Ferry Road without getting on 526. Also very easy access to the airport.

2nd visit. Hotel in a quiet and convenient location. Clean comfortable rooms, breakfast is ok. Personnel at front desk are always available if you require information. They do provide a few "nice attentions", (cookies, a tablet for your laptop, or even some take out breakfast bags if you are running late) take make your stay more enjoyable when you are away from home on business.

I have stayed at this hotel tons of times for business purposes. It is par for the course for Hampton Inns and everything has always been to my satisfaction. The restaurant that shares the parking lot with this hotel (Queen Anne's Revenge) is decent, and the location is convenient to everything on Daniel Island, as well as the Clements Ferry Road area.

Room Tip: The view is nice on the front side of the hotel on the higher floors.

Perhaps it is just Southern hospitality but I felt that everyone was very helpful and friendly. Good location for traveling to downtown, the island and to the airport.

Normally restaurants near hotels are chains but Queen Anne's Revenge had very good food and a great selection of tap beer. Perhaps because it is owned by the Blackbaud group.

What a nice surprise. We stayed here when we were at a soccer game at the Blackbaud stadium. Right from check in it was good - warm cookies, Toblerone and bottle of water. What more could you want? The room - really two rooms, one room kitchenette, large sitting are flat screen TV and the other a roomy bedroom - was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was great with - get this whole wheat items, good fresh fruit in addtion to the eggs and ham! The only thing that was negative- to turn on the light for the bathroom, it was one switch which turned on the light over the sink which was in the same area as the bed. Kind of a drag if someone needed the bath room in the middle of the night. Great value.

The entire hotel was very clean and fresh. The shuttle service is a very nice touch when you are not familiar with an area, Our driver was very knowledgeable of Charleston and told us a great deal as we were on our ride to downtown. The breakfast was just what we had hoped, hot and extremely tasteful. As usual, we were very please with our stay in the Hampton Inn,
