Owner description: Joe Riley Stadium is home to the Charleston Riverdogs, concerts, camps, and other activities. It is one of the nicest minor league stadiums in America, and is situated on the banks of the Ashley River. It is extremely popular in Charleston, and Riverdog games are known across the country for their unique promotions, Friday night Fireworks, and one of their quirky co-owners (Bill Murray).

“Great ballpark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2014

Home to the Charleston Riverdogs, minor league affiliate of the NY Yankees. This ballpark is modern, well laid out and very clean. Great food selection including an enormous selection of hot dogs. They have beer milkshakes (which I did not try but sounded very interesting).

“Great Day at the Ballpark”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

We went to watch the River Dogs play on a Wednesday afternoon. The outer perimeter of the park had been turned into a "water park" and there were kids everywhere! We were traveling with our kids, so they were beyond excited. The game was great. We did have to walk quite a distance to get to the park, but that is usually the case with sporting events. The park was nice, clean. The staff was nice as well. Great day of family fun! Go Dogs!

Enjoyed watching the game, unique stadium! The stadium is updated and easily accessible. Parking is a little far away.

“Fun for everyone! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

This is such a fun place to come with your family (young kids especially) and with your friends! They have food/beer specials and lots to do besides just watching the game!

“The Joe!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2014

The first night we thought it was a 7:05 game, nope, 5:05. Saw the last 3 innings. Asked at guest relation about next night tix ,explaining what happened, and she comped us two tix for the next game. Next night $1 beer and dogs- rainout! Third night the Joe, double header. Still $1 beer. Wild assortment of hot dogs. Fun times.
Another thought, if you hate working with the public stay out of the concession stand. I don't need your attitude! Team staff was awesome. Great group of people. Neat old timey stadium.
