Normally I prefer to pick out the good points about a restaurant. But a place like this deserves a little negative feedback I believe.
Husk seems to pride itself on sourcing local ingredients. Fair enough. But when you have to cough up 30 bucks, yes that's 30 bucks, for an average pork dish ( not even as tasty as the ribs I get at soccer ) and a dollop of corn, hey, that's not so good.
Couple this with the general inattentiveness of the staff: we arrived for our reservation bang on time only to be told - with no explanation or apology - to go wait outside. This we did for a full 15 minutes. Then we were summoned back into the restaurant.
A hasty wine order was taken and the waitress left so the table so quick she failed to ask the kids if they wanted a soft drink. The kids all just looked at each other and made faces. They are used to being treated in a rather more civil fashion.
Everyone at our table thought the food was just so so. It was not cheap. I will not be hurrying back.
