“Good food, a bit pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We visited this place on a recent trip to Charleston. The food was very good, but portion sizes were small and prices were high. Staff were very helpful and friendly, though, and the atmosphere was nice. I'd definitely go back, just not at a time when I am very hungry!

“A charming little bistro”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

If you wish to have a breakfast, a light lunch, coffee and danish in the afternoon, or a slight salad or sandwich for dinner this is the place to go. The service is impeccable, the food and choices excellent, you can sit outdoors or in, there is wonderful taped music, and it is most centrally located. I recommend it highly.

“Real quality & a good value!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013 via mobile

We come back here year after year. The food is amazing. With a great cup of real coffee & the turkey and brie panini you can really soak up the best of historic Charleston. Amazing quality for a reasonable price!!!

“Great Place For Desert, Coffee, A Drink”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2013

My daughter, a student at the College of Charleston, and I have been to the East Bay Meeting house a few times and each time have had a lovely experience. The staff is very friendly, the food/drinks delicious, the atmosphere welcoming and the prices reasonable. A quiet, hidden gem amongst the splashier bars and restaurants on East Bay St. in Charleston.
