“Great place for lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

I stopped in here for a solo lunch during my stay. I had a fine club sandwich, a mimosa, and an excellent cup of coffee. It's a great little.place to stop for a quick meal, or to linger and people watch.

“Great Cappuccino - European flavor”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

After so many disappointments in search for a good flavorful European cappuccino, I was surprised to find one that was served in East Bay meeting house Bar& Cafe. The coffee was organic french roast that had so much flavor and aroma - it was a total delight. The cafe's layout and decor looked like a cafe in Paris, which added a lot to the experience. Great coffee.

We had a very delicious salad here for lunch, and came back for coffee and cake (also very good) the following day. The staff are lovely!!

“A Charleston Favorite”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

We come to Charleston each year for the Spoleto USA Festival. Found this wonderful spot on East Bay last year. Visited several times, and again this year. Nice desserts, good drinks, very friendly staff and owner. Often conversations strike up at the bar and you learn interesting things. Highly recommended.

“Cute place for breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

This is a tiny restaurant with only a few tables. We were starving for breakfast and stopped in here before sightseeing. We had French toast, which was a little odd, but good. But the breakfast croissant sandwich was awesome. Our waitress was outstanding and even turned off the fans for us since it was so cold in there. Kinda expensive, but great atmosphere.
