“Bus Tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Took a bus tour thru the campus. Beautiful campus even in the rain. Overhanging trees with moss and the old buildings. I didn't realize the campus was in the Heart of Charleston. Can't wait to go back and do a walking tour of the campus.

“WHAT IF ART WINS?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

We walked with our daughter and son-in-law College of Charleston tennis coach around the campus trying to identify all the Hollywood props and locations!!! OH.....that's where Braveheart became a Patriot! Right. Along the amazing scenic walk a reception was in progress and I photographed from 50 yards the back perspective of a lovely dressed in black damsel. Maybe it was the blue ribbon and bun that set it off. My son painted that image in oils large enough to hang above a mantle and people drool over the piece....the art, that is. CofC is an amazing stroll even if the party scene ranks far above the academic reputation. After the rickshaws, the carriage ride, and the walking tours downtown do your own thing around the CofC campus and see what wins for you!!!! An amazing colonial urban campus! Enjoy.

“Stroll Down Memory Lane”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

Founded in 1770, the College of Charleston is the oldest educational institution south of Virginia, and the 13th oldest in the U.S.A. One can stroll around campus and view some of the most beautiful homes of Charleston. Randolph Hall has the oldest classroom in use weathering the Civil War. Tours are available.
