Wow!!! We had such a great time watching the Christmas light display. It was truly magical. The variety of different subjects and lights was really cool. The sound that was broadcast on AM was great too. I can't comment on the campground or anything else about the property, but there was no other place to put this in.

We stopped at the campground on our way to Florida and stayed 2 nights. So many things to do at this park. The walking trails were a lot of fun. Our son liked the rock wall and it looked to be popular with the locals too. The campground itself was easy to get around and the other campers were very friendly. We enjoyed the park so much we grabbed the last campsite on the way home from Florida and stayed 2 more nights.

We are new to the RV world and had previously chosen RV "resorts" to stay in. However after camping at James Island, it wil be county, state or national sites for us. The surroundings at James Island are unbeatable. The campground is clean, well maintained and beautiful. There are many amenities that make this a desirable site. It is close to everything the area has to offer. The staff was great and knowledgeable about the area. I only wish we could have stayed longer. This will be on our list of return visits for sure.

First time for us to visit this campground and there's plenty to do at the campground. An easy drive to Folly beach.

Most of the folks using this campground when we camped there (July 2012) had super sized RVs and were not very friendly when you passed them while walking around.

Bathhouses were kept clean and there was plenty of hot water.
