“Expensive, but fun”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Very nice aquarium. Lots to see and do, including things for the kids like a touch tank and play areas. Was more expensive than other aquariums we've visited ($30 for each adult!) and seemed a little less organized. Should offer a little more for the money. But still fun. Plan to park in the public deck nearby if you are driving in, which seemed reasonable to us at $5.

“Senior Adult trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

The aquarium is very pretty and sits on the water which leads to the problem when you have senior adults. The parking (especially with a 25 passenger bus) is hard. I had to drop my senior adults off at the curb and then find a place to park. The building sits a long way away from the street so there is a long walk to the aquarium. It is not a covered walkway and it was drizzling rain. The aquarium itself is very nice but my seniors got confused as to which way to go. Lots of them didn't get to see everything because the map was very confusing. The cost is a bit high but understandable with the research and rehab they do with sea life.

“Very Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Very interactive and service oriented museum. The kids loved the Madagascar exhibit. We spent a good 4 hours there with 8 year olds and that was without even watching the 3D movie. I loved how the staff where always there to answer questions and that in the four hours we were there the kids got to pet snakes twice, watch the fish tank being cleaned and being fed. It seemed like there were plenty of opportunities for kids to learn and explore.

“Beautiful! Our kids loved it too.”

This was great. Cost is a bit high but you can get a $1 off if you go to Ft. Sumter so save your receipt.
