The narration on the civil war was excellent , given by a former history teacher. It was a bit of over kill as he spoke nonstop for the entire time and quite quickley. The children on board were not captivated at all though . He finisded his narration with the truth about Blackbeard and pirates in general which was interesting too.
It was a lovely way to see the coast line and in particular the famed "white point" which when visited on land as it is a key tourist attraction it now has a beautiful park on the site tooat the far end of battery row.The site of the colonial house along battery row from the boat was lovely
The boat tour was advertised at 2 hours, however it lasted just over 60 mins as the remainder of the time was used to get back to the port.
Not one to take children under 10 yrs on, good for history lovwers though
