Just returned from Spoleto in Charleston. Decided to stay at the John Rutledge House Inn to get that "historic" feel while in town. The structure is truly a gem in a city of gems..however, while staying on the upper floor, room 11 specifically, we went three days with extremely low water pressure and I do mean LOW water pressure ! The staff was helpful particularly C.C...the afternoon tea was delicious and a real treat. My tip...don't stay above the second floor. The water pressure problem was blamed on the City of Charleston..supposedly they had turned down the pressure ? Really ?
