“Best Breakfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

We spent last week in Charleston and decided to go to Toast's for breakfast. OMG -- fix your own omelet, add the best grits ever and wheat toast and jelly. Mary made sure we had everything we needed. The others had country ham, scrambled eggs and a huge biscuit. We were ready to "dig" in. Would you believe we went again a couple days later cause it was so good! This time some tried the French toast but that big omelet and grits just couldn't be beat! Wish we had one closer by!

“Great spot in Charlestown that won't break the budget”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

Stopped here for lunch after taking a walking tour. Had a lil wait, but the staff was extremely friendly. I had the shrimp po boy. And of course I had my sweet tea. Their sweet tea was really good. To save our server the hassle of refills, I had her just bring me the pitcher. Lol My wife struck gold with her choice. She got the BLT. Sounds basic, except that the tomato was a fried green tomato. It was amazing. It server was great. She took real good care of us. Would definitely recommend Toast when in Charleston.

“Good food..Poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

Had breakfast at Toast on a busy Saturday morning. The food was very good. Fresh and well prepared. The service, however, left much to be desired, thus, a 3-star rating. Shabby treatment of customers, in a market as competitive as Charleston, was surprising and disappointing.

“Great breakfast stop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014

Enjoyed the stuffed French toast. Mary was a great waitress. Have us some sightseeing tips. Cakes look awesome. May have to come back for coffee and dessert tonight

“Good food but orders not correct.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

We went for breakfast. Had Mimosa's, Eggs and Corned beef hash. Omelette. Food was good but didn't have cheese, ham instead of bacon. Service a little slow. Right next to the Days Inn and in a great area. I would try it again but the 2 others I was with didn't want to go back.
